In 2009, December 5th was declared as MHC Day in the city of San Francisco by past Mayor Gavin Newsom. MHC Day is an event for all community members, volunteers and alumni. This year is a special celebration because we are celebrating MHC’s 10th year!
MHC Day is a public and open event. MHC Day is meant to celebrate the service that our past and present volunteers have done for the SOMA community for the past ten years. It is meant to be a celebration for our org AND the patients/community members that we serve. We want to bring together everyone to celebrate what this organization has provided us all with. It’s as simple as asking yourself, “What does MHC mean to you?”
